個人簡介
國境事務大隊第二任大隊長，任內分別於98年推動建置新版查驗系統、100年推動設置自動查驗通關系統（e-Gate）及航前旅客資訊系統（APIS），透過導入科技通關帶領國境事務大隊邁向國境管理新的里程碑，於105年9月12日榮陞內政部移民署副署長，並於110年1月16日榮陞內政部移民署署長。
Biography
As the second Chief Commander of the Border Affairs Corps, Bill Chung led the implementation of a new-generation immigration inspection system in 2009, followed by the introduction of the Automated Immigration Clearance System (e-Gate) and the Advance Passenger Information System (APIS) in 2011. Through the adoption of advanced technologies, he guided the Border Affairs Corps toward a new milestone in border management. He was subsequently promoted to Deputy Director-General of the National Immigration Agency on September 12, 2016, and later assumed the position of Director-General on January 16, 2021.
